It can sometimes be difficult to find places to take Service Dogs in Training (SDiT’s). Luckily for you, we’ve compiled a list of stores and restaurants, in both the United States and Canada, who have confirmed to Anything Pawsable that they indeed welcome SDiT’s.

Below you will see a “verified” and “unverified” list of stores and restaurants that welcome Service Dogs in Training (SDiT’s) in both the United States and Canada (we have also created a printable version, available at the bottom of this article, for you to have on hand for outings). The “verified” list includes stores and restaurants that have confirmed to Anything Pawsable that they welcome SDiT’s, whereas the “unverified” list are stores and restaurants that are rumored to welcome SDiT’s, but have not confirmed to Anything Pawsable that this is the case (we will continue to update). You may also download our printable version.

All of these stores and restaurants explained that SDiT’s must be wearing a vest which indicates that they are in training, be leashed and may be asked to leave if they are severely misbehaved and/or causing harm to other patrons of the store or restaurant. Please remember that you are representing all Service Dogs and SDiT’s when you enter a public place, therefore be respectful of these locations, the other patrons and your service dog peers.
